I like this song, but I don't cry when I hear it. I'm with Jesus Hates Losers, it's a good song, and emo has become trendy to 13 year old girls, it sucks. But I get on with it. Oh well, this song is okay, The Promise Ring are truly emo tho.

I think Thurston is saying in this song, that his girlfriend is only pretending to be in a bad mood so she can get her way with him, and kind of play the guilt trip. And he's telling himself not to fall for it. That's what the song means to me anyways.
