as much as i agree with the "perfect date, perfect guy" bit, i think everyone is missing the refrain "forgot you've got so far to go.." i think this part changes the nature of the song from the "perfect date" mentality compltetely. i belive the song is about getting caught up in the moment of things and not realizing that someone isnt as great as you thought. |

as an avid (and i stress the word avid) alkaline trio fan, i would say "bleeder" is surely one of their best litereary works. but i do have to admit that i like the hot water music cover a lot better. as beautifaul as the lyrics are, the trio just doesn't seem to have any emotion during this song. i hate to say it, but this song is flat. hot water music carries the emotion much nicer. |
