Sundrop how can u say this song is selling out? In the music video, they are singing to actual OLP fans, Our Lady Peace invited people in Montreal(Ithink) to come to the filming of their music video... How the hell is that selling out? And just cuz it's slow and soft? They've had slow and soft songs before, it's part of what Our Lady Peace is, the lyrics are amazing, and the sound is good, it fits the message. |

Our Lady Peace is the greatest band I've ever heard. I relate to their music, I love their sound, and I find their lyrics amazingly deep and meaningful. Perhaps they have gone a little more 'mainstream' but what is that? It's someone in the US hearing a song that is catchy.
Nickelback was catchy, POD was catchy, Default too. It doesnt take away from the message or the feelings because everyone else likes it now too. Sure the old skool OLP Fans feel like they discovered OLP and this is their music, but OLP if they have to go 'mainstream' to get the credit they deserve for putting together amazing music both lyrically and musically for almost a decade.
Let em do it, they earned it. This song still has meaning, I love this song, and I've loved OLP this I was 13 years old in grade 7.
True OLP Fans should be happy that Our Lady Peace might finally go where they belong. To the top of the charts, and to the hearts of fans everywhere.
