to me it means not doing things when you had the chance to do them...like someone before said "loving a girl but being powerless to act." i dont think the song is JUST about loving a girl...i think it's about life in general, and not making the most of it. |

this song sould have been called "Slipknot = Shit". their 1st album was great(Mate.Feed.Kill.Repeat) and their selt titled one was good, too....but Iowa was just wrong. trying WAY too hard to sound heavy....every song not only sounds the same, but the lyrics are pretty much the same "i hate you! kill kill!" crap over and over....but what did you expect from some Mushroomhead wannabes? |

one of my fave Mudvayne songs. but i too have a hard time figuring out the metaphors and analogys used by Kud. but thats what Mudvayne always try to do, so mission accomplished. they are far from simple lyrics that go right to the point...like slipknot's constant "i hate you! i hate everyone!" lyrics even an idiot could figure out...you really have to read into Mudvaynes lyrics to under stand them, and that makes them great. |

this song is amazing. i saw Hatebreed live a few days ago...holy shit. i cant say it's their best song...because there are so meny great ones and they are all strong in their own way....but this one is one of the top songs. |
