They should get the recognition they deserve... well I think this song is about a guy who admires a *popular* girl; he wants her but he thinx he can't have her cuz of the crowd she belongs to. He wants to tell her how he feels but he's afraid of being embarassed. There's also another guy involved cuz he mentions "that one day when he's gone.. I'll get my chance to ask you out." Okay I know that everyone is giving their own opinions about this song so here's mine~ I guess I think this because of a situation I was once involved in but here goes... I think this song is about a guy who really cares about a girl but he doesn't know how to say it because they are *just friends*. The line "Forget all the things I should have said" means that she knows how he feels because of how close they are, but he doesn't have to say anything for her to figure it out... so he's sayin to "forget it" because he doesn't think he stands a chance with her. "I speak to you in riddles" & "I talk to you like children" show that when it comes to her, he's just a "little boy inside" and doesn't know how to act towards his emotions for her. That's just me tho.. :) |

I agree with lilpunkstar85... this song is about a girl who despises life and the world, but this guy, a friend or someone who cares about her, wants her to know that she's too beautiful to hate anything. To me, *hate* is a really strong word, so he doesn't want her to use it because she's too good for that. He just wants her to appreciate life because life is *beautiful*. :) |
