It's a David Bowie cover. Chill the fuck out. Check it if you don't believe me. "Posers". (I find it hilarious that you'd call someone a poser for not knowing if a song is a cover or not. And it's even more hilarious because you're wrong.) You've made my day. Thanks. :) |

| Backstreet Boys – All I Have To Give Lyrics

There are always going to be music critics, so I don't really see the point in asking "Why can't people all just get along on here?" And as for someone asking "Why do you people come here if you don't like them?!" My reason is because I have listened to them, I do not like them, and THIS is my comment. Any other questions? Also, for those of you who are probably going to ask, "If you don't like them, why did you listen to them?!" My answer: How can I know if they're horrible if I HAVEN'T heard them?! Also, I don't refuse to listen to this "band" because they're the Backstreet Boys. I refuse to listen to them because they are horrible, they play no instruments, and I'm pretty sure they don't write the majority of their music. But those are just my opinions, and EVERYONE is entitled to theirs. Thank you, have a nice fuckin' day. :) |

No, the lyrics that are posted are wrong. She got them from the Misfits box set, and those lyrics were compiled from fans who thought those were the correct ones. The ones that I've got are from the Misfits book. |

I fucking LOVE the way this song mocks the people who are buying in so that they don't sell out. It's fucking hilarious. People these days are all too consumed with the whole "trying to be different just like everyone else" thing that it amuses me and makes me physically ill all at the same time. Jello is a genius. I pretty much agree with Hades, except for the whole God thing. I really don't think that God plays a role in this song...Even though in the beginning it says, "Oh my God! My God this can't be happening!" It just doesn't seem to make sense. This is, however, one of my favorite AFI songs. It's extremely badass and somewhat aggressive. Davey is one helluva writer. I'll say that much. |

DIE NEWFITS! GAH!! I really don't like this song, or any of the songs that the Newfits have put out. Jerry needs to just let it go and at least try to regain some of the dignity that the Misfits name once stood for... Buuut it won't happen. So BLAH. Die. |

| Misfits – We Are 138 Lyrics

|
Jerry Only says that "138" is from the George Lucas film, and it pretty much means humans being given a number, and 138 is that number. Shit like that. However, the WRITER of the song, Glenn Danzig stated, "They didn't write the song and they don't know what the fuck it's about. It's about violence." I personally think Danzig was being kind of bitter about it and didn't want Jerry to be right. But that's my opinion. |

This isn't the Newfits you dumb fuck (Baby Smacks). If you can't tell the difference between that cracked out Michale Graves' voice and the Legendary Glenn Danzig, then I'd really like to strangle you. Mourninghasbroken is right. The Newfits suck. Which is why this song DOESN'T suck. Because Danzig owns you ALL. :) |

This song is a rip off. Why don't you try listening to the ORIGINAL Misfits, instead of the New 'Misfits'. It's pretty pathetic that Jerry Only kept the Misfits name for it's commercial value. And fuck covering the "Newfits". But those are just my opinions. :) |

This is a pretty powerful song...To me, it's kinda telling about how one person may pour their heart into a relationship, while the other just tells them what they want to hear. And in the end, none of it was real, yet the person that was true to their heart is still wanting more...Kinda sad. |

| Social Distortion – When the Angels Sing Lyrics

Social D played this song when I went to their show last year, and after it was over, Mike pointed to a kid that couldn't have been more than 7 years old and asked him to come on stage. Some of the elders in the crowd started laughing and pointing and shit...and then Mike began explaining how "This child will carry on the messages of our generation. All you older people out there need not pull the superiority-granted-by-age shit, because this child can't help how old he is. This child is our future, and rather than expel him, we must accept and teach him." Stuff like that. Almost brought me to tears. Mike Ness is truly a great man. |

Mike was so passionate...I remember right after the last line he got down on his knees and looked up at the ceiling and was like..."Don't drag me down...MOTHER FUCKERS." Damnit. I've got goosebumps again. |

Instead of "Inside your feeble brain there's probably a whore" it should be, "Inside your feeble brain there's probably a hole". And instead of, "If you don't shut your mouth you're gonna feel the floor", it should be, "If you don't shut your mouth you're gonna feel a blow." But to me, this song is dedicated to all the twats out there that've got shit to say about everyone and everything. Possibly because they've got shit for brains. But see, one day they're gonna fuck with the wrong person and be shit outta luck. :) |

ARGH. Once again, you shouldn't have put this song under AFI. It's a fucking cover song. (A damn good one, might I add.) But nonetheless, it needs to go under The MISFITS. Otherwise you'll get all these little kids thinking, "Oooh I love the AFI song Halloween! It is like, Soo totally rad!" And that just wouldn't be right. But what about "I feel so faint as my life spills over you"? To me that suggests that the song's about dying FOR someone...and then "I fear I cannot prevent myself from spilling your life all over me", that seems to me that this person is saying that if they're going to die, they're going to take the other person with them. It's also 4:30 in the morning...and I'm tired. Nyah. This song is probably in my top 5. |

| Misfits – Mephisto Waltz Lyrics
|
This was a song that Glenn wrote that was never recorded while the band was together. According to Jerry, it was a song The Misfits only rehearsed twice together, as all the members of the band except Glenn did not like it. Glenn first mentioned it in the June 1986 "Thrasher" interview by Pushead, who misquoted the title as "The Crystal Waltz." In a later "Thrasher" issue, an article stated that Glenn had discovered a tape with this song on it. The version of this song that appears on the Collection II album and The Misfits Box Set was recorded by Glenn Danzig and Eerie Von in 1986, three years after The Misfits broke up. The title of this song may have come from the 1971 movie of the same name.
