You people take it too literaly, the basement isnt an acctual structure but most likely a prison he mentaly build for himself. Mother probibly signifies a domeneering female figure like a controling girlfriend or something. The whole "cause if you want you can take it all away from me" is something that shows up in alot of the songs and that probibly means exactly what it says, he just doesnt care anymore. Dunno if Im right, thats just what it seems like to me. |

alright boys and girls, a.) its a 3 part graphic novel not a sci fi epic, each CD is based on a diffrent part of the graphic novel. As for this song, i agree with rivalschools because it seems like alot going on. i think its kind of about one persons life and what they have to go through when entering the real world. Coheed and Cambria are AWESOME live, ive seen them twice already and ishould be going again, i love them, awesome band and this is a great song. |

Im thinking this song is about a girl who is in love with a boy thats just leading her on and its ripping her apart inside so she trys to kill herself. I dont think its about jessickas girlfriend/ ex girlfriend or whatever. I think its just about a friend whos seeing someone close to her whos just so beautiful being ripped apart and all she wants to do is help her friend and let her see how wonderful she is. |
