| i think this song is about RAVEN (Scooter's daughter), and i think is like...let's see if i can explain, is like all of his life people he loved and cared for "gone away" from his life and he doesn't want to lose RAVEN so somehow he just says he will be always the same, and he even breathe when raven is crying but he says he will always be there for her...when i first heard this song was like, this is about a relationship, i got 13 ways to bleed on stage and well i knew the song wasn't there, but i bought coz of bleed and i fell in love with COLD, but i only realized this song is about raven when i was reading scooter's THANK YOU and he thanks his little star RAVEN, than all the song made sense to me.... :) | |

i think the grave means he is burrying all the past shit on it and leaving it behind so he can rest his mind and his mom stop with all this nonsense, i think EMINEM doesn't mean by filling the grave that he had killed his mom i think it means that he is leaving everything behind his back IF SHE LEAVES IT BEHIND TOO, i mean, i think the grave is like "hey mom i will try to forget all the bad shit and bad feelings ya gave me if ya stop sueing me and trying to take from me what you never helped me to get, is like i only want to give Hailie a better childhood than i had and if you take my stuff from me only coz you don't want to see what's in front of ya, it is selfish" i think he talks about Hailie on the song coz he want to make clear for his mom and for everyone that everything he does is just to make sure that his daugther will have a much better life than him... listen to any STAIND song and you'll know just how i feel, but this song...i mean it has so much to do with me i don't have brothers or sisters so the line "My sister called me just the other day It felt so good to hear her voice " represents to me like my cousin called and i didn't have shit to say to her... I think the song is all about his family being dysfuctional but he doesn't hate his mom or his father or any of them, but they made him suffer, coz somehow they "erased" Aaron(i say this coz i know almost all staind songs and is the idea i get from them)...i think Aaron had some hard shitty times with his family but i guess that his KARMA is cleaned..i mean he payed his dues now is time for him to be happy... i think this is like em somehow explaining somehow that what he writes, he writes from what he knows, feels, sees, and that just because one of his fans decided to get a gun or hurt someone doesn't mean he is the guilty one, since MUSIC IS REFLECTION OF SELF, this is one of my favorites songs, i mean C'MON, the song is great, and i think EM can still do great songs without being talking on everyone TH0UGH ppl expect him to do that on every song...I think even though he doesn't talk bad shit on everyone the album is still very good, EM showed that he ain't just a white boy mad at the bubble gum pop ppl, and that he doesn't need to diss ppl to have number one hits...i think the next song of his album should be SING FOR THE MOMENT, CLEANIN OUT MY CLOSET(coz it would be cool coz he would do at same time some publicity to his movie 8MILE, coz here in portugal for an exemple not many ppl have heard of the movie), SOLDIER or TILL I COLAPSE i think this 4 songs should be(of course only one) the next single....lol...
