It really isnt about jesus.
The original was some cheesy awful 80's power type ballad thing. I cant remember who the original was by, but for that i'm quite thankful.
I remember the video, having lots of sweaty men, possibly firefighters in it. Its literally the woman wanting a man. Emery have covered in, slightly tongue in cheek. |

i think i have it, two people, 1 is depresses and needs 2, 2 is saying that he will always be there but is only so much that he can do for them, but will be there when 1 is better and ready, when 1 has woken up. 'you're colour was blue myslef is making me feel this way' 2 is saying 1 is down but 2 is down as well from himself' probably got this way way wrong, but this is how i interperet it and it makes perfect sense for me and mine, as our song, it fits out situation if interpreted that way, but seeing as noone else has really had a go. |

Its about the West Memphis Three, kinda obvious when he says 'Bloodless riverbank, west memphis' and 'Drown in flames of miscommunication' from all the fuck ups that went on in the trial and gathering evidence, the police and witnesses and such, quite ovviously made a lot of stuff up and held back other vital evidence.

Nah! not at all. PTW's early stuff yeah its amazing and yeah i could write about how awesome and how moving and inspiratonal it is, but htey have progresses, jeffs shouting voice has grown with him, its been perfected, i dont know what your all going on about hatebreed in posts for. i dont think so! as a band they have matured musically and lyrically. seriously some of those lyrics, so obvious and i want to kick myself that i didnt think of some of them, you know, its true you either get ptw or you dont. you can say you do and like an album and then not like the next but you dont get PTW. its more than that. its the first time a band has made me feel part of them, i cant communicate with my best friend through a ptw song
when we are going through stuff, i need to hear your laugh when im dying on the other line.
come on, stop slagging them off, they are an amazement, you cant possibly even feel you have the right to pass judgement on them. |

anybody who knows anything knows it was writtena bout kurt quite early into their relationship. he was using herion at the time (NOT COCAINE) she had been clean for a while but he persuaded her to do it with her, that is how muched she loved him. kust was infatuated with dolls growing up, drawing them and pulling them apart and reasembling them wrong. courtney wanted to be kurts doll to be put back together. it was while nirvana got big and the bands time was entirely taken up. courtney has his love but felt that she was coming in second or third! big veins is a reference to the heroin. kurt would love to see innocense and beauty suffer ofr his own entertainment hence the line he loves to see them break. |
