This song reminds me of a girl i know who is totally delusional. In her world she is perfect and everything happens exactly as she wants it to. Even when reality blatantly contradicts her she has conditioned herself to alter her memories until the past is only what she wanted it to be. The scary thing is this can happen in less than a day. My friend spent 2 months trying to break up with her because she would freak out every time and leave then come back having forgoton what had just happened. At this point im one of the few people who will still speak to her and she usually outright hates me because i bring her back to reality for a bit trying to help her and she cant handle it. Thus to me this song is like every conversation i have with her. |
