The first time I heard this song I cried. It was like Aaron Lewis was watching the whole part of my life when I thought I was gonna lose my mind because of stuff that was going on at home. I know my problems weren't big compared to some of those I've read in here, but they were big to me. When I heard this song I was like someone had put into words exactly what I was trying to say. The emotion was too much and I couldnt express myself the way I wanted, but this song had it all in there. | This is a great song. I always thought it was about a guy trying to break up with this girl because he knew the relationship was bad, but he couldnt do it. Like the part where he says "Remember today I've no respect for you And I miss you love And I miss you love " its like he's trying to be mean to make her leave but follows it up with something not mean. And he loves being with her but he just cant make himself be wholly involved (i.e. "I love the way you love but I hate the way I'm supposed to love you back.") | |

This song always reminds me of the town I went to high school in. Everyone thought they were so bad but they really werent as big as they thought. I think this song is the same and he's sayin that they couldnt let the other people see that it was all a facade. | Great song.... Lucky Boys Confusion is great. I think this song is like a conversation between friends or something. One guy is talking about what this girl he likes does to him and how he's afraid to go talk to her. Then his friend is saying to just go for it cuz time isnt gonna stop while he gathers his courage. Then the chorus is the friend talking about how he finally goes up and talks to her. | |

| This is one of the best songs ever. I love Weezer. I dont know what this song is about but it rocks. And I dont really think Weezer sold out, I dont know why people say that about bands. I mean, if they totally turn around or something I could see, like if Staind started singing about how blue the skies are and how great the world is, that would be a major change. But I think if Weezer wants to do a video with the muppets, then go them. If a band is doin something and its cuz its what THEY want and not what the public wants its never selling out. Weezer is the type of band that I think would survive if they got minimal radio time and stuff. | |

| I love this song. I never thought of the pregnancy take on it for some reason though, that sounds like a possibility. The thing I always thought of is that she's sitting talking to a guy friend of hers saying how big of a jerk her b/f is by keeping her down for so long (silent all these years) and how he keeps all his stuff from other women. In the deep thoughts part, she's saying kinda 'good for you' finding a girl with a brain. The "boy you best pray that I bleed real soon" always meant to me that she needs to get rid of the poison that's going on inside her and how she thinkin what if there's something better out there for me. Then, at the "years go by" part its kind of like an epiphany where she realizes she has to do something or else she'll just be another casualty of her situation and she's the only one who can get herself out of it. At the end, its like the guy she was actually talking to is her b/f and is telling him she's through being silent. | |

| This is a great song... It sounds to me like she is using the metaphor of the distance to China to describe her relationship and how they dont seem as close. Then it changes to the china on her table and how it looks perfect but isnt and its "funny how the cracks dont seem to show." Tori Amos is a remarkable musician. | |

My gosh, this is an awesome song. This is my favorite by her. I think it's about growing up and knowing that you have to figure out life for yourself even though you want your father to be there to save you still. I love this song. I've only heard Elva but I wanna see if the other CDs Unwritten Law are as fun to listen to. This is a great song. It seems to me that he's telling everyone that he's made it and is dating a beautiful girl. However, he never know if she's being real or fake and after a while, at the he says "Dear Mom I'm dating an actress Now I'm an actor too." So he might feel like he's starting to play that game too. I dunno...thats just what it sounds like to me. Unwritten Law is awesome. |

| Woo hoo... I'm the first one to make a comment on this song. :) Anyways, this is a great song, probably my favorite of theirs. I think its about a guy who just can't forget his ex, and his new girlfriend knows it. However, she goes on pretending that everything is just peachy while waiting for him to break. The thing I don't understand though is the part about if Paul were still alive. Obviously he's still alive, so does that mean artistically maybe? Third Eye Blind is one of the greatest bands ever and God of Wine is the greatest song ever. These lyrics are sooo deep and beautifully written. This song is about someone watching the one they love destroy themselves. They then realize they are being dragged down with them even though they cant do anything for the person. "And the god of wine is crouched down in my room You let me down, I said it Now I'm going down ,and you're not even around And I said no... I can't keep it all together I know... This is such an awesome song. Finch is one of my new favorite bands, they are so great! I think this song is about him just wanting to be with her (obviously), but he doesnt know what she's feelin. The part that says "once again your eyes make it hard to ask you why so i sit here knuckles tight hands against the wheel your head against the glass and you mean so much to me" makes me think he wants to ask her but hes all nervous and doesnt know what to say |
