someone seems to have a lot of time on their hands to make worthless comments like that in the span of less than an hour. does it make you feel better about yourself to make such comments where no one gives a damn about what you think? grow up kid. |

i think the "watching Grunge leg-drop New-Jack trough presstable..." part makes sense. i dont know what it has to do with weezer itself, but new jack is a wrestler from the now defunct ECW and grunge could be one as well. there were numerous occasions in ECW where people are put through tables. |

couldnt you have gone off to the concession stand during DBC's set? sure, stage precense is one thing that makes a good live show. but for some bands, stage precense isnt necessary for the type of music they play. look at dave matthews band, they have very minimal stage precense (possibly the only stage precense is seeing dave matthews bobbing up and down while playin his geetar), yet people of all sorts seem to enjoy their show. anyways, im confused about your preferences of the type of singing one should do. youre saying that DBC just "talks into the mic", well doesnt POD and Papa Roach do the same thing, except they probably speak a little bit louder and add a little jumping up and down along with it? anyways, listen to Bitter Pill if you're looking for raw emotion put into a song. Don't get me wrong, im not trying to stick up for DBC, but im just playing devil's advocate here and letting you see both sides of the story. |

hey, there isnt anything wrong with "gangsta" rap. if anything, them songs show off more emotion than DC. and not all the songs are all about "popping a cap in someone's ass" if it does mention something, there is usually a reason, them telling their stories about their pains growing. i'm sure that most of you agree that trying to survive in a gang infested neighborhood when you are just a young'n has more of an effect on one's life than just a breakup with a girl. |

ill agree with the previous comments that the lyrics seem mediocre at best. but you got to look into the fact maybe some of these lyrics have a different meaning to chris than the rest of us, therefore the basis for most of his songs. and since when does a person have to have vocal talent to be a successful artist? look at twiztid. they dont have any talent at all. they could be just as bad or even worse than dashboard confessional. |

i enjoy further seems forever more than dashboard confessional. but...if 'emo' is a derivative of 'emotional', i believe every song written out there in the world has some sort of emotion tied into it. therefore, classifying certain bands as 'emo' is totally irrelevant. |
