| 50 Cent – Wanksta Lyrics

gorefist, perhaps your tunnel-vision short-sighted brain makes you fail to realize that 50 cent already put out 4-5 albums before get rich or die tryin, and they were in extremely high demand but also extremely limited release, so they never had a chance to go platinum.
Also, anyone who says--and I'm paraphrasing here--rap is poo or rap sucks, and rock is so much better make themselves look as idiotic as those who defend rap to the hilt.
There is absolutely no way to quantitatively--sp? and your SAT word of the day-- measure music in any form. If you go by sales, then Eminem and 50 are one hundred times more popular than TBS or Finch or DC or whatever kind of music you like--forgive me for assuming what kinda music you like. Anything else is just stating your own opinion and you should mind your business when it comes to criticizing other people's lifestyle and actions.
Finally, blind rockstar, if you haven't guessed I'm mostly talking to you anyway, there is one problem with your 10 easy steps to rap music. Have you ever tried to write lyrics yourself? There is an incredible talent for poetry--that's right, I said it-- that goes into rap just as much as anything else. So a little respect is certainly due to someone who rights everyword that goes into his music. Not to mention one of the only rappers who doesn't need a thousand other turds to help fill up his empty air time with crap. Ever wonder why they do that? because they're not creative enough to do a whole song themselves. 50 certainly is. Sorry for the rant. |

wow, tyler, I never thought of it like that. Very cool man. But, other than that, I was a little blase about TBS the first time I heard Tell All Your Friends, but these guys are f***ing brilliant. "I'm as smooth as the skin... that rolls across the small of your back"? I don't know how people could write stuff to give me chills EVERY TIME I hear it, but they pull it off. Wow. |

I think this song doesn't belong smack dab in the damn middle of a great album like this. It just pisses me off before "A Certain Shade of Green" starts, and I don't like being mad at Incubus or skipping past tracks. |

Horny little rock god isn't he? I love this song, it's always good for a laugh. And it has a guitar only simplicity--even though it's really distorted--that is hard to find these days. |

OHahahaa. Oops. Clean up on aisle seven. I love this song. His voice is amazing, the greatest rock vocalist of our or any generation, and I will have words with any who believe differently. |

Oh my god I hate you all. You just ruined this song for me forever because I've been singing it wrong. I would have sworn that the words were fall in line. Dammit I feel violated. ;Þ |

I don't really know what this song means, and I don't care, but the guitar inbetween verses and chorus and drums at the beginning always do the trick to make me go through the f***in roof. |

| Lostprophets – ...And She Told Me To Leave Lyrics
| 22 years ago

Hey I love lostprophets, but I have a few niggles with this song lyrics. First off, I really wish that "... won't you come and fight with me" was f*** with me, but these guys don't really curse so... and also, I think that the "because if i thought i were you
every word i say" is " and if I thought I'd win you" which really ties into my idea about what this song means. If it is indeed "win you" then I think this song is all about wondering whether you should ask that girl that you are really good friends with to become something more. He talks about how if he thought he had a chance then he would be sure to screw things up, and "if i thought i'd win you,
time and time again
and if i did we won't be friends" means that he knows that if she does become his girlfriend then they won't be normal friends anymore and he's going to miss that. The could i, should I, would I also follows the same idea, lending the feeling of a torn conscience. Or maybe, I've just got a serious jones for one of my really good friends, even though we are both attached to other people. Whatever. |

Havok what the hell are you thinking???
Well, I can't get enough of this song, I just got into finch and I wanna see them live because I have heard that they kick ass, I never thought about the fight club connection, but it really does make sense. When he gets to "ARE YOU HAPPY? I'LL DECIDE!" I just start freaking out, and I really scare the people in the other cars. (I listen to music mostly when I drive.) But, yeah this song rocks, and Finch rocks, and I can't wait until they come to H-town again. |

I have heard people say he sings in falsetto. (Goolander, no offense) If that is falsetto, then it is the most beautiful I've ever heard. Sorry folks, he really can sing that high. LIsten to Chorpus Christi Carol on Grace and believe.... I love this song and just about every song on Grace. Mojo Pin, Eternal Life, CCC, and all the rest. Screw all the disbelievers. |
