This song is definately religious in its meaning. I think you'd have to be stretching it pretty desparetly to make it about a girl. There is also reference to god and the devil, which means its not about any religion in general. Its probably what ever denomination of Christianity that matt was brought up in. I also think that the song is more of a fuck you to religion than anything else. |

A three year old child could tell the difference. There's alot of shit on here about whether or not Tim ruined the song or if Box Car Racer sucks, thats all opinion and nobody is wrong or right as far as that goes. You are fucking wrong. The songs both sound a like because they both start out playing the same chord progression with similar rythms. Its happened thousands of times before with songs and it doesn't mean Box Car Racer is ripping off the Trio or that both bands were "covering" the same song. Blink does that with their own songs all the time. The songs are different enough to be appreciated individually. |
