I don't know what you all think about the meaning of this song. I think that it means that the hunger is the lusting after women. The women always cause him to turn his head. I think that it has almost killed him because he has either acted on the lust and had sex with the women or is tempted very strongly to. Dad could either be God or his earthly father. God understands because he always forgives. His earthly father understands lusting because all guys are tempted to do look at women unrespectably. What do you all think. I would like to know? |

Everyone, listen to me. You have to listen to the entire CD of "Winners Never Quit". It is one big Story. Each song tells a part of the story. In the first song, "Slow and Steady wins the race" A Politician is very selfcentered. You then learn that he is involved in a Political scam in "Simple Economics". On is way home to his house one night he gets drunk and is pulled over in "To Protect The Family Name". His wife then finds out about the scam and threatens to tell in "Mind of her Own". Then in "Never Leave a Job Half None" he kills his wife. Then in "Eye On the Finish Line" he is sad and wants to repent for his sin. In "Bad Things to Such Good People" he is in jail and everyone is dissapointed in what he has done - Everyone except God - God Forgives him. Then in "Winners Never Quit" the man is telling other people that even if you screw up to not quit. He wants everyone to know that God will forgive them. Whew!! Not that that is over with do you see that this is christian. You have to listen to the whole CD. It is pure genious!!! Thanks |

Don't Forget, mimicry that God ultimately Forgives the politician after he is in jail. That is explained through "Eye on the finish line" how he is striving to get better and to repent. God forgives him in "Bad Things to such good people" and then the poitician is trying to spread the news to other people to not quit in their race and striving to not sin in "Winners Never Quit" |
