This song is definately about growing up and looking back with someone and trying to erase painful memories. "Disarm you with a smile And cut you like you want me to Cut that little child Inside of me and such a part of you Ooh, the years burn" Those lines right there are talking about how they're trying to forget the past which is painful to both of them. The rest of the song just ties it together. About how he goes from being innocent to making bad choices and paying for them in the end. |
