I heard somewhere that Chino's wife is diagnosed with AIDS, and that got me thinking that this song is about his undying love for her, and how he'll never abandon or leave her, even if she infects him (the virus) because he loves her so much. Even if it's not specifically about his wife having AIDS, it could be a song about how even IF something like that happened to her he'd still love her, so it makes sense either way. Also, that would kind of explain why he never wants to talk about that song... |
