OK, several things. First, I thought that part of the lyrics were Can you take it all away Can you take it all away When ya shoved it in my face "Explain your game to me" Am I wrong, or does anyone else hear that as well. Second, this song IS about his son. and Third, the lyrics are awesome. |

| To me, the song means that you are searching for someone that is your soulmate. "THE ONE" that is right for you. There is the possibility of having found that person and missing out because you were too afraid (hence being "caught in the sun") or "blinded by the sun" so to speak. Too busy looking at the rest of the world to see what is right in front of you. Another meaning is the "distant destination of choice". I'm involved in a LD relationship and this song hits more at home for me with those first few lyrics. I DO miss the voice that goes unheard.
