ok no one else has mentioned this and im not like a bible thumper or anything but is it possible that this song is about god? like at the beginning she had faith in something different n it failed her.."i thought that you'd be here by now' and then "damn cold night, trying to figure out this life"..it could be about being lost and not having faith in anything when the first thing failed n then like the whole "i dont know who you are but im, im with you" could mean she accepts god into her life? ok so you all probably think im the dumbest person but its SO what i think of. and im not all into god. it just makes more sense to me then someone going off into the dark with a stranger?? like i dont even know if she is religious but its just what the song means to me. |

ok i know this song is about getting it on "two become one" but it reminds me of my high school *how quaint* not because i got it on, but because i danced to this song with my high school crush and even though i will always dislike the spice girls..( i bought the single of this song only for this reason) this is a good slow song to dance to. where are you joe....mmmmm memories. |

LiveUrLife thats what i first thought of too..anti drunk driving..weird..like giving into peer pressure and drinking and then driving but he doesn't n instead its like having your eyes opened n realizing its dumb and being scared to stand up for yourself but you do it anyways and choose water n you drive home and you know u will be around tomorrow whatever it may bring..n ur gonna make the same choice again to not drink or drive. |

i dont think its about just sex. i mean it could be on a simple level but "That I can show you how, it feels to be inside of you" could also be about inside someone's heart. like this girl he is with cares so much about him and makes him feel so great and so wonderful n he wants to show her how nice it makes him feels n he wants to make her feel the same...its my fav love song..
