Has anyone noticed on the music video that the bird is red, the young and older version of the girl is wearing red, and the baby is wrapped in a red blanket?? Could they be one in the same? I don't know, you could be right, those areas are just hard to make out. If you are right about the jewelers part, then I think that it would probably be 'collective'. Collective being a group of people who share or are motivated by at least one common issue or interest, or work together to achieve a common objective. That seems to fit the definition of organized religion and the ghouls in this song. They were just a bunch of hypocrites, and Judith was the one who shined above them all (or illuminated her piece of the divine). Wonder when ToolBand is going to post the lyrics?? |

yes, hawk_er_8, eskimo_8, and thirdeyewide, I feel the same way about this song. I do have a question, though... On the line "Fading all the trials and the tribulations" Could that actually be "Feigning all the trials and the tribulations"? That's what it sounds like to me... I don't know, I could be deaf. But it would make sense, though. The fact that the holy rollers boast about the 'end of days' and such and how they 'endure' their trials and tribulations and all that jive christian nonsense, when in actuality they've never been through any of that... Not like Judith Marie. "None of us have actually been there. Not like you." |
