I think that every man, or anybody for that matter, can relate to this song. Everybody has their heart broken one time or another. I think that the reason you're addicted to this song Better Than You, is because you can relate to it. Everybody needs to feel sad everynow and then, and this song is perfect for sadness. |

The Goo Goo Dolls are awesome. I can't believe I didn't realize it before. This song speaks to me personally. A guy who is so in love with a girl that he's blind to see that she doesn't really want him, but it doesn't matter because he's still gonna wait for her, hoping one day that they can get together. Love is a crazy drug. |

Wow, what a voice Norah Jones has. She's like a siren. I'm a closet lover of hers because if anybody else knew that I liked her, they would laugh at me. I just find her voice so soothing, especially in this song. I too know what its like to want someone to "come away" with me, but sometimes you just gotta wait until that person is ready. |

Here's an interesting bit of info behind how the Misfits got their name and their fixation with Marylin Monroe. Arthur Miller, a famous playwrite (Death Of A Salesman, The Crucible) was married to Monroe for a while, but she was still in love with Joltin' Joe so they seperated. Well a little while later Monroe died and an explanation for her death never came out. Miller decided to write a play about Monroe's life called Misfits, which chronicles Monroe's life from her rough childhood to her glamouros adulthood. Hence, the name of the band, and their fascination with Monroe. Good song too. |
