This song seems to talk about that one person that you know, that acquintance that you don't really like, but you see all the time. the one that you wish wasn't really there. and glad when you don't see him/her Such a simple song with many repeated lines, yet interesting and thoughtful... maybe in just the way he sings it. |

This song seems like the carefree days of youth. Also the recklessness of gambling... "we have placed our final bets we have come out to play" and "you'll get yours and i'll get mine you can't be lucky all the time" which can combine to be very dangerous, yet fun as you go chasing girlies. a interesting lyrical paradox... if paradox is the right word for this song... |
