yeah, sometimes i think all you people out there don't realize what System of a Down is all about... you have these bogus interpitations and you neglect the morals of the entire band. System is about anti-oppression and they are about serving are mother earth not fucking killing it (listen to goodbye blue sky live). You may think you know what System of a Down is all about but at the same time you ignore their self righteous suicide and continue with the system. How the fuck can you call yourself a fan without realizing this? Thank you chavez for knowing about the system... |

thats a pretty good interp, but couldn't you say the sleeping is how everyone is fuckin but him? cause he has aids... like we slept together is the same as we fucked... get where i'm coming from?
or another possibility is everyone is sleep cause they were all not listening and learning from him... like he's trying to tell them, warn them of the disease but they are asleep to his cries... |

i know these aren't very good lyrics but i have two other songs that i know are system but no one has posted them... and all i have to figure the lyrics out are my ears which don't work well... just so you know... anything in paranthenses is not part of the song... is just trying to discibe the lyrics i can't hear in that spot.... |

i believe it is about a disturbed boy/girl, victim to the downs of society. he/she is looking back on everything. he/she was socially shunned because of a disease, or in reality, unpopularity, which can be just as shunful as a disease. he/she is saying fuck you to all those whom have hurt him. those who installed hate within him due to the teasing or ostrisizing and to the ones who gave him faith in society, that the system would change.... and when it didn't everyone was sleeping, because he killed them.... sorta a twist on the columbine stuff.... |
