| Avril Lavigne – Too Much To Ask Lyrics

Every part of this song relates to me and my last boyfriend - my first love. I didn't really listen to the lyrics properly at first but when i read them it hit me. I could have wrote it myself it's so appropriate.
To me it's about a relationship going well, you totally fall for them and think they are so cool until they end the relationship and you realise they had other priorities before you (i.e weed and friends), and that's the moment you realise what they're really like, the way they act, and stop looking at the relationship through rose tinted glasses. Yet you still can't help loving them.

| Vanessa Carlton – A Thousand Miles Lyrics

This is one of the two songs that i can't stop listening to at the moment. The other being Kasey Chambers - "Million Tears". If you haven't heard that song and you like "a thousand miles" you should definately check it out. It's one of those songs that sets you on the verge of tears and is very emotional. A typical "Dawsons Creek song", which is where i heard it for the first time. I also like Michelle Branch and had to look twice to see if it was her when i saw this video, but they are both very talented and should be respected for what they do. It's not easy, believe me. to me this isn't neccessarily about wanting someone you once had, it could be about just wanting someone, and you can't see any chance of being with them. I first heard it on dawsons creek today and i love it already. Love Laura x |

| Dashboard Confessional – The Brilliant Dance Lyrics

To me "the brilliant dance" is used to describe this relationship as a big act. A dance is a performance and that's the way the person feels. Like the relationship has all been one big performance, and obviously it is all over now. |

he's right it is "i'll take your photo for ya" but it also sounds like "come near come near come near" rather than come here or come in |

I first heard this song on the film "perfect body" about a gymnast with an eating disorder. The song fits the film so perfectly. |
