He knows that what he had with his friend/girlfriend is over for good and he resents it. He resents the relationship and the break up. It would have been easy to just keep close to that person and suffer through the struggles but instead he walked away and now he wants a part of it back if not all of it but knows there is no way of that happening. So with "what's said and done" there is no going back but maybe there is a chance to move foward and form a new bond, a weaker bond. He is depressed and thinking about suicide over the subject. Very powerful and very meaningful, to me at least. |

The thing I like the most about this band, is that you can let anyone listen to them, and no matter what that person likes, let it be praise and worship songs or hip hop, they can not help but nod their head to the amazing rythm, and once you look at the lyrics, or learn how to listen for the words you love what they say. |

Alright, well I for one am extremely happy to see Yellow Card and bands like them being played on MTV and Top 40 radio stations. I'm not a huge fan of Yellow Card, I don't follow them religiously but I do enjoy their music. I'm happy to see them on MTV because that means when they are played its just one less even more mindless rap song about bootys and 40's. I want this damn hip hop, rap crap craze to die so I can listen to the radio and not be disgusted by something that is there for just a beat. I know that I will never hear bands like zao, training for utopia, or soulfly on a top 40 station or see them on MTV but I will settle for Yellow Card.
Now for my comment on the song.... well it really doesnt need to be explained, its straight foward and I doubt that there is any deeper meaning to it, so if you can read or hear you know what its about. |

actually ferret/phattom you are wrong cause in the cd insert the lyrics read "you fail you fail you fail and they pay" so the lyrics are right. but i think this song is so amazing and moving, I love when bands take a stand against an obvious in-justice like this. Its hard to believe how people could let something like this happen, but I'm glad that ZAO is in support of the WM3 |

this song is so awesome, it became one of my favorite songs the frist time I heard it. It has deep meaning to me because I can relate to whats said in the song. |
