alright I have about 4 million things to say... 1)OxAngel16xO- Dashboard is headlining 2 tours this fall... The Vagrant tour, and his own tour... one of those tours he will be by himself without a band accompanying him... 2)CouchpotatoHero- Yes I agree with you that it's about "booty-smacking action" but I think it's more than that too... Like maybe he actually loves the girl, and the leading up to the "booty-smacking action"... 3) Greensaint- Maynard James Keenan is a fantastic songwriter... but he is in a completely different type of music than is Dashboard... so it's kinda un-comparable... and finally 4) YellowcardXChick- It's Dahboard Confessional... not Dashboard Confessionals... no need to pluralize... and it probably didn't take Chris a long time to write this... because, as a songwriter I know, that if you know what you're doing the lyrics just flow... no need to really think. here's the correct second and third verse for this song... I don't know if someone already corrected them or not but here they are...

blue black above... who cares if they heard Dashboard on MTV? Maybe some of them don't have any other way to find new bands. And how's it bothering you? Are you seriously that effected from Dashboard's popularity that you want everyone to die? That's kinda sad... don't you think? And I'm not saying that I heard Dashboard from MTV... I heard him just a couple months before, so I haven't been there since the beginning either. But I'm still effected by the music the exact same way... probably a little more than you from the sounds of it. |

ok this is to "obviously"... just because she's half-Japanese doesn't mean she can't speak good English. If she's from America, and just one of her parents are from Japan, then her she would have no accent at all. Where did you even hear in the song "She can't speak good English"? As for it poking fun at the Japanese culture? Where in the song do you hear anything like that? And also this is just a side-note... ECW used to be huge in Japan. |

alright xxbrybryxx... first of all... the "hey did you get some? man that is so dumb" part of the song is saying how his friends thought the only reason he was going out with this girl was to "get some"... and the second time he says it... "stay quiet, stay near, stay close they can't here, so we can get some" is not meant to be some masterful piece of literary art. it's meant to be funny. and as for the "annoying instrument"... it's called a guitar buddy... ever heard of it? moron |

One thing you guys missed about this song... I think the "it's cool to fake romances" part is making reference that the girl is with someone just because of that persons social status, not because they are in love. |

My friend met Chris last year over the summer, and he had backstage passes. Chris was drunk backstage and yelled at security and told them to "get these kids out of here". He also had 3 different girls go backstage with him. Take it for what it's worth, that's just what my friend told me. I really don't think he'd lie to me about that for no reason, but who knows. I might be meeting Chris next month when he comes to Ohio with Weezer. I got VIP's so I'll update you on the jerk thing if I meet him. |
