God gives us peace when we would otherwise be confused, and hope when we're discouraged. If we surrender ourselves to God, we will find our true identities through Him. At the beginning of the song, it says that everyone is watching and waiting for you to do something. Then it says "dare you to move", and what I get out of it is that we are encouraged to take a stand for Christ. Why not go against the grain and stand up for what we believe in. We are to let go of our past lives and selves to move forward, even if it may cause problems between us and other people. The only true escape from our sin and past problems, is through the redemtion of Jesus Christ! |
