| Tom McRae – Hidden Camera Show Lyrics | 23 years ago |

I think this song is a comment on how orwellian are society is becoming. Focussing on such things as CCTV with lines about the cars on the high way and drunks singing my way. He's saying that nothing goes untracked. The bit about deception and rejection might be referring to the whole reality TV thing with Big Brother and the like. The first bit is, I think, Tom saying how helpless we can all feel in this society... what can we do to stop ourselves being constantly monitored? I dunno... this is probably all wrong, and me being a paranoid skeptic... if that's the case - ah well. |

| I'm not sure but the song sounds so much like Lennon's solo material it's uncanny! I think it might be Liam's way of ripping off... err I mean paying homage to the great man himself :) | |
| Hed PE – Feel Good (feat. Serj Tankian & Morgan Lander) Lyrics | 23 years ago |

I kinda disagree with everything posted so far. It seems to me that Hed are looking around at everything and saying that people just don't care about anything. They're having a dig at all of the self-righteous, selfish idiots in the world. The views expressed so far imply that the writers have only listened to Serj's chorusy bit, but if you listen to the next bit it says: No- we can't compromise like that No- we can't conform like that I'm saying fuck you and fuck the norm like that Revolt and transform like that Make a difference Have an impact Then it goes into biblical references and returns to the armageddon situation they hinted at at the beginning. So yeah, an amazing song - but I believe that they're trying to get across that people put they're own comfort and good-feelings before what's right and good. It's a commentary on the moral breakdown in the world. |
