When he says "I've got a twenty-dollar bill that says.." and also, "broken down in bars and bathrooms" It kinda of reminds me of brand new's songs that go.. "i've got a twenty-dollar bill, that says no one's ever seen you without makeup.." and also, "broken down from the bikes and bars, suspended like spirits over speading cars.." maybe he wrote this song from the help of listening to brand new...i don't know. atleast that's how some people try to write songs, i know. |
