First of all, I think this a great song. I love Vanessa Carlton's voice and it was nice to hear her come out with a new song (not to say her other songs aren't great also!). Second of all, the second line should say "bungalow", not bunk alone. Thirdly, I heard a radio interview with a local DJ and Vanessa Carlton, and it turns out that this song has no meaning to her at all! It's all made up, jst something she put together! Regardless, it's a wonderful song. |

| This rare BNL song is one of my favorites by this band. It reminds me of a guy I met in college, coinscidentally named Rudy, He was a player in every sense of the word, messing around nearly every girl at the college. It was almost as if this song were written for him!!! This is pretty much what I think this song is about: a guy (or girl) named Rudy who enjoys causing problems in a certain area, and is being warned that they should cut it out before it all catches up to them and ruins their future. | |

| I agree with LJLBub. This is such a great song, one of my most favorites by Jars of Clay. If we all have faith like a child, I think we could gain so much more from life. The faith a child has is so simple, so innocent, and hasn't been clouded with all the evil in the world that we, as adults, are forced to watch go on around us. Though it's not always possible, we should try to have faith like a child as much as possible. | |

| I jst got the newest Barenaked Ladies CD, Disc One 1991-2001: All Their Greatest Hits. In the booklet, it gives commentaries on each of the songs on the CD, spoken by Steven Page. His last comment on this song is "And by the way, to answer one of the most common questions I get, the protagonist is still with the same woman - it's the new tenants of his old place that he's intruded upon." Therefore, I do not believe the rumor to be true. | |
