i think he's reffering to liking someone who he doesn't really know, and he doesn't want to like them because it hurts so fucking much. he's already ended their relationship before it's actually began.. he has no real reason to like this person either, he's yet to find one.. and the only thing he has to really go by are photographs.. he doesn't bluntly say he loves her, so no one really knows.. he's too busy lost in confusion and the thought of her to even know when she comes around.. and when he does know she's around, he's too busy debating over what to do than meeting her.. absolutely beautiful.. and nothing but. |

'ghost upon the stage' is also reffered to in Days of The Phoenix.. when i realized that, i was confused about my interpretation of the song.. at first i thought when he said 'am i the star beneath the stairs? am i the ghost upon the stage? am i your anything' that he could've meant am i hidden from you? am i there, just not visible to you? do i mean anything to you? but now .. i'm not sure at all, but whatever, this song is great. |
