I think this is a totall clasic, one of the best song ever! I think Motionlessandwhite about the meaning of the song. WOW Dani filth is one helluva writer, just imagine if he was alive back in the day of shakespear, he would have totally shadowed shakespear, Dani is a genious. |

every body stop bloody ripping into venom. They charted an undiscovered area in heavy metal. They broke away from their metal roots and created a whole new image for heavy music as well as created a whole new genre. If it wasnt for those guys we wouldnt have COF or any other black/death metal bands. |

This song is about the old witch trials hundreds of years ago. People were killed like filthy animals for entertainment in front of cheering crowds just because they were considered to be witches. And the only reason they were was so society could have a scapegoat to blame for their own mistakes. The exacutions were all comitted in the name of God hence the name of the song. |

i think pantera could have picked a much better song by black sabbath to cover than this one. Something a bit faster & louder like "iron man", "sweat leaf" "childern of the grave". Iv heard that they did do a cover of Electric Funeral, I recon that would have been better than P C. but hey, at the end of the day i still like it alot. |
