This song means so much to me. Tonight, i went out with a guy that i have really liked and we snuck out at 2 in the morning, stayed out late, went on a walk, and he jumped the fence for me to get in the pool where we just sat around talking and just having eachothers company, not just "getting some". When i got home, being bored, i put in dashboard and heard this song. i realized its almost exactly what happened to me and now i cant turn it off. It describes the little things that you will always remember and that one special night that was so wonderful that was meant to be ordinary and turned out to be so incredible. Tonight i really realized how much he meant to me and i cant even describe the feeling. When i hear this song i get this feeling in my stomach and its so wonderful, i feel the excitement that i just lived and it reminds me of what i just felt. Dashboards words and actions are so simple... and yet they are so beautiful and you can feel exactly what he's feeling. When he says "You stood at your door with your hands on my waist and you kissed me like you meant it" shows that when she kissed him, he knew that she wasnt just doing it. The night meant something to her and she sincerely loved him. All of his songs lyrics are so amazing and they always arouse feelings within you. You can relate to every song in some way... |

This song is... completely awesome. I totally relate to it. You have someone that is so close to you, you can tell them ANYTHING and they dont think your stupid. You like the same things, you have so much fun together... and then you loose that person. I know how much it hurts. Sometimes its unbearable. But no matter how terrible.. u have to keep on. You cant push someone into doing somthing thats not in their will. You have to wait it out and "hold your breath." Everything happens for a reason |
