i think it's about getting high. Cocain or what not..It says, "she was kindness in the dark crowd...consolation from the old wound now forgoten." I think it's about him getting stoned or drunk and forgetting all his problems, "she" being his happy drug. but that's just a part of the song. but i really have no clue what it's about, it's just a guess |

Personally, i think that this song is having to do with the lord of the rings. I'm not really a big LZ fan, but i like their stuff, and i'm not really a big lord of the rings fan. But on their CD that is a picture of gandof in the paper thingy. I think that a lot of their songs have to do with lord of the rings. "There's a feeling I get when I look to the west, And my spirit is crying for leaving." I think that's when frodo is leaving on his journey, and I think the whole song has to do with what his fate might be. Best song of all times. It's not overrated, it's rated so good because it's an awesome song
