I think that this song is about someone who was given up for adoption when they were young because the mother was too young to handle the child. But regardless of the fact that this happened, the child still loves his mother, and is proud of her. Maybe she left him/her because she had plans to become a movie star or something, but never did. I guess that he/she is mad because their mother thought that it was more important to hava a career than to have a child. And he/she is reflecting on the times he/she did spend with their mother by remebering about the songs he would hear on the radio or the tv shows that he/she watched while they were together, and makes that his/her his past. But i don't know. |
