Incubus – Bathe In My Snot Lyrics 14 years ago
I'm well aware of "Love Sick". Where did you hear the drum incident specifically happened during "Love Sick"?

The reason I assumed it was this song is because of the break between 2:45-2:54. There are no known recordings of "Love Sick", so I guess we'll never know for sure if it was in that song.

Love You Moon – Late May's Gaze Lyrics 14 years ago
I'm obsessed with this song right now. I'm not going to attempt to explain it line for line (although I implore someone do that). At first glance, I think this song describes the situation where you break up with someone but still rely on them for physical pleasure. I would love to hear other interpretations.

Jason Mraz – Childlike Wildlife Lyrics 16 years ago
I respect your interpretations, but I took a different approach. I think by the title, "Childlike Wildlife", Mraz is referring to the night life, or the club/concert-scene if you will. If you've ever been to a concert, well, you know could be compared to 'wildlife'. And it is rather 'childlike' because most clubs are filled with young people.

Mraz is reflecting on the madness of night life. It FLOORS him. Essentially, I feel this song is about being in a club and trying to find what makes you important and special enough to be noticed by a girl or group of people. You may say the wrong thing to a girl one night, but the next night, 'you'll treat her right next time and try not rely on the perfect line'. This song (or poem at this point) is the inner dialogue of someone in a world where most of the action is certainly happening outside.

Conceivably, I could go explain line by line, but I implore you make your own interpretation.

hey, correct me if i'm wrong...but i think this is the song where jose circled around the drum set and knocked it over during a break in the song...

Avril Lavigne – Sk8er Boi Lyrics 21 years ago
ummm i havent read everything that was said....but it was funny how "emo bah" quoted maynard in a avril song meaning. i think avril has talent...but after listening to tool, all other music looks so pitiful especially rap. wait im getting off subject

back to avril - shes no punk. someone said it perfectly (i forget who and i dont feel like going back and checking through these 600 posts) - shes a female version of blink 182. shes supposedly the "next big thing" and all this shit. bull shit. she'll burn out soon enough. give her time. fuck pop, fuck avril, ps punk sucks too
thanks for your time

Dashboard Confessional – The Good Fight Lyrics 22 years ago
i've just recently started listening to dashboard confessional, after seeing him on mtv unplugged. "The Good Fight" is a damn good song and he is very good at writing lyrics. of course the meaning of this song has been explained because theres been hundreds of posts off this song...my favorite line is:
I begged you not to go. I begged you, I pleaded. Claimed you as my only hope and watched the floor as you retreated.

Eminem – 97' Bonnie And Clyde Lyrics 22 years ago
all you people that don't like eminem and shit...just stay out of his lyrics, this is for what you think of the SONG not the artist.
well anyways, about the song, the beat is good, the lyrics are just amazing, overall it's a brilliant song.
also...if you didn't notice, this song starts where the controversial song "Kim" lets off.

Canibus – 2nd Round Ko Lyrics 22 years ago
i wouldn't say this song has any meaning (since not many rap songs do...)but its got a good beat and canibus is one of the most lyrical rappers out there.

Eminem – When The Music Stops Lyrics 22 years ago
D-12 sucks, Bizarre is a shitty rapper. The first part with Eminem is so tight though. It's the only good part of the song, otherwise the song isn't that good.

Eminem – Amityville Lyrics 22 years ago
This song is pretty crappy, the first verse sucks, and Bizarre is just the worst rapper... EVER. But the second verse by Eminem is really tight, and that's the only part of the song I like.

Eminem – Rock Bottom Lyrics 22 years ago
This is the old skool Eminem that I miss... This and "If I Had" are his most emotional songs. He doesn't make them like this anymore, mainly because he's not poor and anything anymore. The lines that stuck out most to me were part of the chorus actually:
"That's Rock Bottom...
When you feel you have had it up to here
Cause you mad enough to scream but you sad enough to tear"

Definitely a song from the heart. This is one of his best.

Eminem – Criminal Lyrics 22 years ago
No one could have said it better 'osubuckeye'... Criminal is by far the best song on the Marshal Mathers LP and it's a shame he didn't make it a single.

Juvenile – Back That Azz Up Lyrics 22 years ago
I am a rap fan, but Juvenile is just pure shit. (And the rest of the Cash Money Millionaires) I'm sick of hearing about the jewels and vehicles they own. They turned the rap game into a circus. "Back that Azz Up" is a meaningless song. Juvenile doesn't deserve to be here.

Kenna – Hell Bent Lyrics 22 years ago
Kenna is an awesome artist, his CD, "New Sacred Cow" is great. I don't know why he's waiting so long to release it... Anyways, "Hell Bent" is one of my all time favorite songs. And Kenna deserves to be more popular. When his CD comes out and he does some promoting, maybe he'll get the respect he deserves...
