I think this song is about a guy who likes a girl, but he knows she is just leading him on to what will end up being nothing ("so go ahead and take a picture and hang it up so you can tear me down"). He talks about how he is still there for the girl despite what he knows is gonna happen because "I've got nothing left to lose /with all the years I've wasted on you". He is constantly hurt by the girl, but he can't do anything about it because he likes her too much ("I got my finger on the trigger and you're in my way") |
