This is without a doubt my favorite Get Up Kids song. My ex-bf first introduced me to TGUK, and of course this song now reminds me of him,..sigh :( My favorite line is "Your arms in mine, anytime. I wouldn't trade anything. You're still my everything." When he and I were together, one of the things that we said to each other was "you're my everything", so as you can imagine, this song has extremely deep sentimental value. Even though it's been almost a year since we broke up and it put me through hell at the end, I still wouldn't trade any of our wonderful memories of time together, or any of the bad things I've gone through. I'd go through all of it all over again just to be with him again, and I think that's what this song is about. John, "you're still my everything." ;*( |

| This is my favorite Saves the Day song! I think it's sooo incredibly beautiful and sweet, and the lyrics remind me perfectly of a guy that I'm still in love with...:*( Anyhow, my favorite lines are: "And I hope your majesty, that you like your position. I'll do anything I can, to keep you by my side"...those words are just sooo powerful. I think he's basically stating that by calling her "your majesty" that he regards her with the utmost respect and loyalty and thinks she's on a higher level than himself, almost like his Queen or Princess. :) And by your position, he's talking about being his Queen, and he being her King, and their relationship with one another. And that he'd do anything at all possible to keep her happy and near him to spend their lives together...such an awesome and wondefully romantic song =) | |
