The Decemberists – Billy Liar Lyrics

I've been looking online through various lyrics for this song and I've come across several different version of the chorus. The line "let your legs loss on the lino" often has "low" or "loll" in place of loss. The song certainly sounds like it says low, but could anyone explain to me the meaning if it were loss, as this site has it? Low doesn't make sense either, but loll seems to make the most sense. Thanks for any help you can give.

Tabitha's Secret – And Around Lyrics

I love this song, love it, but I don't have any clue what the lyrics mean. Especially the first lines. I mean really: ou said adjust your heels girl, they stick out like an anchor Don't touch the flowers, cuz you can't hear them well Couldn't last forever, lord ya know it's gonna end sometime What on earth does that mean? Still, I can't get over how great the song is. It sounds cool despite the strange lyrics.

Something Corporate – If You C Jordan Lyrics

I like this band, but I just can't figure out how anybody likes this song (please don't hurt me, anyone). I'll admit I'm not into the whole Something Corporate scene, as I just very recently discovered them, but this was the third song I heard by them (after Konstantine and Cavanaugh Park) and it almost turned me off to the band. Luckily I also found Down and Hurricane soon after, which recovered their reputation. I guess if this song is trying to be clever or something, it just didn't work for me, and if it's just trying to bitch about some immature person the writer knows, that doesn't work for me either.

It's an amazing song. I'm just getting into Something Corporate, although I've listened to this and Konstantine (another absolutely beautiful song) for a couple years. I just don't know what to say about it besides its obvioius brilliance.

Matchbox Twenty – Unkind Lyrics

I'm actually a huge fan of this song, although I have to admit some of the lyrics don't quite work for me. I'm also relatively sure that several of the lyrics above are wrong. I'm also not quite sure why all of TS's songs are in MB's section, but I guess they're close enough to the same band...If you like this song, see if you can find either And Around or Blue Monday, also by Tabitha's Secret, they're similar and also both great songs.

It may not be the direct meaning Rob Thomas intended with the song, but, as march here's post said, this song has tremendous meaning for those of us who actually have mental disorders such as depression or schizophrenia, for those of us who actually spend hours staring at the ceiling, hearing voices and being paranoid.
