I always wonder....... the things you run from, are they really so bad that you should risk total unhappiness?
Well to me it sounds like she was already living in total unhappiness.. her mother left her to take care of her alcoholic father, and to do so she had to quit school. That doesnt sound like much of a life.. it was a complete sacrifice of her future. She felt trapped & needed out.
Anyway, this song is beautiful
