I'm glad that Yellowcard decided to capitalize on people's emotions. Where would our economy be without people like them and Alan Jackson?? Think about this one honestly. We all felt like shit after September 11th, but the last thing I wanted to do was run out and make money off it. If they truly cared that much they would have had the respect to let it be. |

This is the best song on NOFX's most serious album to date. You get the feeling from this album that Fat Mike is starting to see the world at face value and realize the bullshit that's really going on. This song takes on 3 issues: Greed in big business, society (and patriotism) blinding citizens from the wrongs their country is commiting, and the justification of "scary" people so that everyone can feel safe. Amazing song -- and I think the line "The guilty don't feel guilty they learn not to" applies to almost all facets of life. |

I don't understand why people are saying that Starting Line has "matured lyrically". I've listened to the new album several times, and I can't find a song on it that's nearly as good as 'three's and charm' or 'saddest girl story'. That term is being used to loosely lately; it seems that everytime a band comes out with a new album someone says that. I love this song, and I can't stop listening to it, but their lyrics are not as good on this album. |

I was thinking about this song and I totally agree with you Katers. I think it is about finding the right person for you. The reference to the stack being burned away and being to drunk to see 3 feet in front of him is saying that even when you find that person you might just let them slip away. |

Sic n Twisted... check out dynamite boy, starting line and mest. They're kinda starting to become popular but it's hard to find bands that are playing this kind of music that aren't getting popular anymore. I used to care about selling out, but I've come to a point where I just appreciate music regardless of the band. Also, half of Reset has become Simple plan. "I'm just a kid" is getting huge now, but they've got some really good songs. My fav is "one day" |
