It seemed really odd to me how this album was released on sept. 11, the same day that the terrorist attacks happened. On a day where a lot people lost their lives, slayer releases their album with the title god hates us all. maybe that was a sign that god really does hate us all and would really like to see us all die. |

I believe that this song had a lot to do with the columbine incident. Manson wrote this album about 3 different things, one was the columbine shooting. Everybody blamed manson and the music that people listen to as an excuse for people doing this kind of stuff. When manson writes his lyrics, he tells it how it really is. |

I would like to say that earshot really kicks a$$, and that you can't deny the fact that the lead singer does sound like maynard from tool, but I really don't think that earshot is influenced by tool. The lyrics of earshot compared to tool are nothing alike. So if earshot was trying to be a tool rip off, than their lyrics would have to be similar to tools. I think that earshot is a great band and will continue to produce good music. |
