| i kinda agree with opheliadipity on what the song means... this is my interpretation just cuz its what happened to me and it makes sense... the girl broke up with him and he was sad at first but then realized its stupid to be sad because its all happened before and this time he's "not gunna watch himself die" so he finally gets over her and she wants him back and this is just how he knew it would turn out ("i finally have you right where i want you") where she would be wanting him back and the puking is when they broke up and he got real drunk and puked all the next day and how she kinda fucked herself over and he's not gunna come back to her that easily even though he wants to he knows he shouldnt.. yeah well thats my interpretation buts its prolly all wrong | |

i dunno if anyone told told this story but ender is chris's middle name and one of his friends saw the book "ender's game" and thought it was weird so he bought it and they read the whole series together and then they got in a fight and their friendship started to fade so they talked about the book and it would bring them closer together the song was actually originally a vacant andy's song entitled "ender" (it was never recorded) but it was a much heavier song so chris renamed the song because it was a totally different song. sorry if some one already posted this story, just trying to help. bryce patterson midtown41@aol.com |

this song is about a long distance relationship with a (now) friend who chris used to watch dawsons creek + another show i forget on wednesday's + saturdays, the girl was the manager for another band so they were both always touring ("road rules") + when he was home she want + vice versa ("falling on a leap year"), ("when im back from the raod and your out on it") , ("heading home just in time for me to leave") and they would talk on the phone , and abuncha places on his tour there were people that gave him recordings of the dawson's creek ("up to date on tv night") its called shirts + gloves because almost every shirt chris owns is her's she buys them and pretty much just gives them to him and during a winter tour once he loaned her a pair of gloves and she lost them and he blew up at her and yelled at her and then he felt bad and everything so this song is pretty much for her and how he misses her and stuff like that bryce patterson midtown41@aol.com |
