the lyrics are touching, comforting.. its talkin abt how things cud affect lives differently depending on how they are managed by the bearer. and its juz too bad the one he (d speaker) is talkin to was so into his problems and was so burdened he got 'stuck' in d situation..and dats where d suicide thing is all abt.
he is also tryin to say that he had bad times too :

i love this madonna song.. so she got obsessed with love, and with the things/pleasures she can get from it. she cant seem to get enuf, and when she found "you" (whoever or whatever it was)..dat "you" bacame his new obsession..her substitute for love. the video was also faithful to its message and u cud see her running away from those she used to enjoy..avoiding them all and stick to her new obsession. |

a very beautiful song.. she's head over heels on him, but he has another girl. she's completely empty w/out him that's y she wants him desperately (im like the desert tonite, leave her behind). she wants him to realize she's no ordinary girl.. she hates d situation coz whatever she tries to do, she cant hav him..and still, "he looks so fine" as if there's not a slight of burden in him.
