| American Hi-Fi – Flavor Of The Weak Lyrics

I saw an alternate version of the song lyrics to this song, where instead of "flavor of the week" it was "flavor of the weak". This actually made some sense; she was always with these guys that don't treat her like she deserves. These guys are sub-par, e.g. "weak." |

This is a pretty good song. But I have one question about it, is it about a stalker?
You shying away
I'll be coming for you anyway
Maybe I'm putting too much into it, but that is what it looks like to me. |

I love this song and the video rocks. Little did I know that when this song first came out that some of the lyrics were suggestive to say the least. |

This isn't a description of a beautiful woman, yet it shows how she can be evil. That just goes to show, some people ARE what they seem to be. |

This song is all about love. Love that Mary J has for her fans and love that people should have in the world. It's a great song to help perk you up when you're down. |

This song is near impossible to sing along with. You have to be able to spit out words at a blinding speed. But I like it! |

My heart pumps peanut butter everytime I hear "He don't stop / You can stop" Although I thought it was "You can't stop" but I could be wrong. |

I always thought it said "Stomping baby's breath and shoe full of rice," which again, relates back to the wedding thing. |

This song is pretty good. It is pretty self-explainitory. The video rocks too. |

I'm replying to the original statement. The person with his eye hanging out is not because of some nuclear fallout, that is Toxie, a member of the Toxic Crusaders, a mildly popular cartoon show in the late 80s/early 90s.
Frankly, I just think you or whoever wrote that article read too much into the song, which, in my opinion isn't a good song to begin with. Not that I am dissing on Moby, but he has done better. |

In a lot of ways I like the clean version of the more. I would be lying if I didn't say that the video didn't add to its appeal. |

This is one of the few times when someone remakes a song and its sounds as good, if not better, than the original! |

This song has appeared in many movies. And that is because it conveys such a common message. The need to be rescued. And while being in many movies may have cheapened its value, that enabled it to reach a larger audience. I cant help but rock out to the song when I see Tom Candy in "Who's Harry Crumb" chasing after the airplane or Johnny 5 in "Short Circuit 2" taking out the bad guy.
I need help, I know.. |

This is the ultimate song of heartache. It shows how life isn't black and white, but with plenty of gray.

I agree about the masterbation thing, but I thought the line "Because I can't stop messin' with the danger zone" was more of a reference. |

To me, this is a song about how a small town reacts to a young boy being gay.
"I'm never coming back"
They heard him cry
And I believe him
They wouldn't stop till they found him
They didn't know him and they didn't understand
They never asked him why
"They didn't know him and they didn't understand" that is what made me think that this song was about a young gay man. However, the video tells a different story - Billy, the Kid.
