| this song reminds me so much of skool, its saying how much of a hassle skool is with fitting in and having to go back there and follow all the conformity. wen people are at skool, they lose sight of who they really are, and it makes them become different people, hense the line "before our eyes turn grey again and we forget what it was like to feel awake". holidays bring people back to being themselves, all i can say, is that i cant wait to finish skool all together. | |

i really like this song, i think that is screams such power when u listen to it. when you get into the lyrics its quite surreal, i mean its like the person is trying to move away from alcohol, but they cant live with out it. so its very contradicting, very well put together....i wouldnt have a clue what the refernces to jesus and mother mary mean though. but whoever the song is about cant escape their addiction, and it is a real cry for help thanx for listening, i am prolly really wrong, but yeah.. ps...i went to see tool play live in perth and it was sooooo good!!! |
