This song almost makes me cry, as I read it. He says "he'd turn the tv off, hold her every second, say a million I love you's", why don't we take the time for these important things while we still have someone? But I think it's about either moving away or someone dying. It's all very very sad. I love the song, but it's sad to listen to it. |

I think this song is about someone, who is very helpful and tries to help everyone and always seems so strong emotionally. But, even someone like that needs to cry, and needs someone sometimes. Sometimes he wants it to be ok for him to just be a human with problems, he doesn't want to "fly ". And he says "he's not crazy or anything", which is true, then he says the last verse, which I think he's just saying, he's only human, not a hero. This is how I take it, cause I take it personally. Because friends and people always come to me when they need someone, well that can get very hard at times, and people think you are so strong, but all you want to do is cry, and have someone hold you for once. That's what I think this song means. |
