| Harry buddy... i hate to break it to you but Catholics are a denomonation of Christianity... If you're Catholic then you ARE a Christian... i'm a protestant and im still a Christian. and for those of you that are dead set against believing in God, consider this. Granted, nobody aside from several thousand people living 2000 + years ago have *seen* God, but just look around you. Do you REALLY think that everything you see, the trees, rocks, the stars, life on earth, perfectly balanced ecosystems, were all created by a big bang? and if one of these big bangs managed to occur, wouldnt it seem likely that another one would have happened by now? regardless of that, i'll admit, i havent *seen* God... so imagine there's just a 50/50 chance he exists, if you believe in him and follow him and he's real, you will go to heaven. If you believe and him and follow him and he's not real, you've still led your life as an outstanding example to others... so how exactly do you lose out here? | |
