i actually thought this song was about falling in love at the wrong time, and looking for love in all the wrong places because of some of the post i saw on this site. i went to warped on sunday (august 11th) and i saw thursday and geoff explained the song. he said it was about coming back to new brunswick and sitting next to his grandmother who was on her death bed and feeling so insignificant and realizing how everyday is a blessing and it can be taken away so quickly. when i heard him describe it this way, it seemed to make a lot more sense to me. and if you don't belive me check out the live ep coming out in september. |

this song is amazing. its one of my all time favorite songs. i had a feeling it was about leaving someone on a plane and stuff. i didn't know it was about a book though. i read the references to the length of the song... maybe its a reference to how long till the plane leaves sight of the airport, or the airport isn't visible from the plane. i dunno i could be absolutely wrong. |

To me this song means a lot. It fits with a major part of my life. I'm in love wiht someone who lives in Cali. and when gabe sings "I wanted to tell you I miss it. I just wanted to let you know the last year has helped me grow. I want to take you on the road, where we'll go i'll never know. Will you come along? It's easier when no place feels like home" what it tells me is that theres still hope for me and when i can be with her i will. and untill then no place feels like home. |
