Pink Flyod, Tool, both bands that use drugs as a way to obtain that level of creativity that might not otherwise be obtained, however, Dax is not necessarily one of them. I know Dax. He's crazy as a loon. Maynard [of Tool] probably isn't. In person Dax is always talking about butterflies and unicorns and such. I'm not saying that he didn't intend for some sort of meaning in this song, I'm saying whatever it is, we're probably not where near figuring it out. Chanese are it's nothing but abstract theorizing. |

While Acid Bath songs might have some sort of deep meanings hidden far within Dax's poetic lyrics... we probably won't come close to finding them. During the time Dax was in Acid Bath he was doing so much drugs, constantly, that the results are his lyrics. If you can find a deep, wonderful, meaning in this song, then great. Otherwise though, don't take any of it too literally. |
